Welcome

Welcome to Installing Anaconda on a Personal Computer!

This self-paced training will introduce you to Anaconda, an easy-to-use distribution of Python and R programming languages useful in scientific computing. I will introduce you to Anaconda, walk you through installing Anaconda on your personal computer, and conclude by showing you how to keep Anaconda running well using Navigator. No prior knowledge is required for this course. The learning objectives for this course are listed below.

• Identify applications such as Jupyter Notebook

• Use your personal computer to install Anaconda

To begin, I recommend taking a few minutes to explore the course. You will see the course is divided into three shorter modules. All modules have several short videos to familiarize you with the course material. Some modules have short assignments. Please briefly review the material you will cover in each module and preview any assignments you will need to complete the training.
