Dr. Karl Roberts holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences, Writing and Education from Western Kentucky University, a Masters of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Biology, Sociology and Education) from the University of Texas at Brownsville and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He has been an active educator since 1985, teaching at the secondary, College, and university levels. Dr. Roberts has taught many courses including General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Botany, Marine Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Evolution and Ecology, and Microbiology. For the last 27 years, he was a Professor of Biological Sciences at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland, and also served as Chair of the Department of Natural Sciences (2019-2021) prior to his retirement in 2021.
