Kamal Al-Malah received a PhD degree from Oregon State University in 1993. He served as Professor of Chemical Engineering in Jordan and Gulf countries, as well as Former Chairman of the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Hail in Saudi Arabia. Beside his chemical/biochemical engineering background and his M.S. and PhD work which had the focus on proteins interactions, covering their behavior in solutions and at the interfaces, like adsorption, he is the number one expert in modeling, simulation, optimization, bottle-neck analysis, process control and dynamics, safety, and economics aspects of chemical processes using both Aspen Plus and MATLAB platform.
